Women-centered health, lifestyle care unveils in Lagos

A new chapter in women’s wellness has begun in Lagos with the official launch of Edené Wellness, a rebranded and reimagined health and lifestyle facility dedicated to women.

Formerly known as Dr. Seyi Absolute Wellness, the centre was founded by medical doctor and women’s health advocate, Dr. Oluwaseyi Adebayo, who described the initiative as the product of more than seven years of work in medical practice and holistic wellness.

Speaking at the unveiling, Dr. Adebayo said Edené Wellness represents not just a change of name but a deeper transformation in vision and scope.

“Edené Wellness is more than just a wellness space, it is a sanctuary,” she explained. “Our goal is to create an environment where women can pause from the busyness of life, breathe, and be restored. Every corner of this facility has been designed with intention, combining wellness, quiet luxury, and medical expertise to help women bloom from the inside out.”

The centre’s services are tailored to women seeking rest, rejuvenation, and intentional living, with curated treatments ranging from relaxation therapies and restorative care to lifestyle guidance. Unlike traditional spas or clinics, Edené Wellness merges medical knowledge with holistic practices, creating what Dr. Adebayo calls a “wellness model for the modern woman.”

The launch also marks a significant rebranding journey, from the personalised identity of Dr. Seyi Absolute Wellness to the broader, internationally aligned vision of Edené. Dr. Adebayo said this transition underscores a long-term commitment to excellence, intentional practice, and global standards in women’s wellness.

For long-time clients, the change has been welcomed as both natural and necessary. Peace Anyawu, who has patronised the facility for years, described the shift as an elevation of an already impactful experience.

“I have been with Dr. Seyi’s Wellness for years, and this rebrand to Edené Wellness feels like the natural next step. Every session leaves me refreshed, renewed, and deeply cared for. Edené Wellness is not just a service; it’s an experience every woman deserves,” she said.

The new facility promises more than individual treatments, it aims to foster a community of women committed to sustainable health, balance, and mindful living.

By offering a structured environment where women can prioritise their physical, mental, and emotional well-being, Edené Wellness positions itself as a premier destination for integrated care in Lagos.

With its emphasis on intentional living, luxury wellness, and community support, Edené Wellness is setting out to redefine what women’s health facilities can look like in Nigeria.
