Medics Partners unveils women’s health center in Lagos

…pledges holistic care for every stage of womanhood

A new chapter in premium healthcare for women has opened in Nigeria as Medics Partners officially launched its Women’s Health Center in Victoria Island, Lagos. The state-of-the-art facility, unveiled as part of the healthcare brand’s first anniversary celebration, is dedicated exclusively to the comprehensive care of women across all stages of life.

The Medics Partners Women’s Health Center, described as the first of its kind in the country, promises an integrated, multidisciplinary approach to women’s health. Services span gynecology, reproductive health, obstetrics and prenatal care, breast health and cancer care, menopause and hormonal management, urogynecology, and advanced diagnostics.

The Chief Medical Director of Medics Partners, Dr. Busola Ayelowo said, “For Every Woman, At Every Stage, that’s our commitment. Women deserve a center of excellence built around their unique needs, where care is not fragmented but integrated, accessible, and delivered by some of the best doctors in the country.”

Heading the new facility is Dr. Waliyat Jolayemi, a renowned gynecologist recognized for her clinical excellence and patient-centered practice. She will oversee the delivery of specialized services while ensuring that every woman receives world-class, compassionate care tailored to her needs.

The Chief Executive Officer of Medics Partners, Akin Eso emphasized that the new center is more than just a hospital wing. “Our goal is to position Nigeria as a destination for premium women’s healthcare,” he said. “With this launch, we are reaffirming our mission to make Medics Partners the first point of call for women who want holistic, world-class, and dignified care.”

Located in the heart of Victoria Island, the Women’s Health Center offers a serene and private environment designed to enhance patient comfort. The facility is powered by cutting-edge technology and Medics Partners’ commitment to clinical excellence, aligning with international best practices.

The launch marks a significant milestone in Medics Partners’ journey, coming just a year after its entry into Nigeria’s healthcare space. In that time, the company has carved a niche as a premium provider and is now deepening its focus on women, a demographic often underserved in the country’s healthcare system.

With the Women’s Health Center, Medics Partners says it intends to not only improve outcomes for women in Nigeria but also attract patients from across Africa seeking top-tier medical care.
